The Camminando il Montalbano (Walking Montalbano) series returns. Together with the environmental hiking guide Michela Del Negro, there are many opportunities to immerse yourself in walks to discover Lamporecchio and its surroundings, in the tranquility of nature, along the area’s trails.

The initiative is organized by the Municipality of Lamporecchio and the San Baronto-Lamporecchio Tourist Office.

Thursday, June 6

Porciano from the hamlet to the ridge path
Hill walk between Le Gorgole and Poggio alla Baghera. Upon returning to Porciano, it will be possible to visit the Church of San Giorgio.
Meeting point: 5 PM at Bar Magnelli, intersection of Via Porcianese and Via Montalbano
Duration: until 8.30 PM

Medieval paths
Walk to Larciano Castello. From Centocampi, you will walk along Via Bufignano, ascending towards the medieval village of Larciano Castello, a fortification used by the people of Pistoia as a watchtower.
