At the conclusion of the experience, don’t lose the occasion to visit Montecatini Alto, a little medieval town where you can enjoy a stunning view of the Valdinievole valley. Here you can also see the ruins of the fortress, the Romanesque church of San Pietro with its bell tower, the tower of Castel Nuovo, the central square and the neo-gothic theater.
Furthermore, you could also take a break in the picturesque square for an aperitif or dinner and then return to Montecatini Terme via the ancient funicular railway.
