On foot, it can be completed in two days, with stages of about 20 kilometers each; by bike, the route can be done in a single day, including short stops at key points of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Itinerary<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Great Loop of the Valdinievole begins in<strong> Pieve a Nievole<\/strong>. After crossing the stream of the same name, the route joins the Cammino di San Jacopo and reaches<strong> Montecatini Terme<\/strong>. Here, you can enjoy the historic center and the thermal park before continuing on the loop. The trail then passes through <strong>Margine Coperta<\/strong> and<strong> Buggiano Castello<\/strong>, which offers scenic views over the surrounding countryside. From <strong>Stignano<\/strong>, a gentle climb leads to <strong>Uzzano Castello<\/strong>; after passing through the charming village, the trail descends comfortably to<strong> Pescia <\/strong>\u2014 the end of the first day for those walking the route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second day features more challenging ascents. From Pescia, the route follows the Alta Via della Valdinievole, winding through low mountain terrain rich in forests and panoramic viewpoints. It reaches the villages of<strong> Malocchio and Macchino<\/strong>, where the descent toward<strong> Canfittori<\/strong> begins.
