DESCRIPTION:From the second weekend of November 2024\, Magical Christmas with Pinocchio returns to Collodi\, featuring workshops\, performances\, mascots\, and much more\, all with a Christmas theme. \nFor this occasion\, entry will be free for all children up to 14 years old\, including access to the Park\, the Historic Garden\, and all activities\, both outdoors and indoors. SUMMARY:Joan Miró in Montecatini Terme
DESCRIPTION:The Galleria Civica Mo.C.A. – Montecatini Contemporary Art has housed Dona Voltada d’un Vol d’Ocells in its permanent collection since its opening in 2012. This piece is one of the five largest works in the world created by the painter Joan Miró. \nFrom December 4\, 2024\, to June 29\, 2025\, the gallery pays tribute to the master with the exhibition Joan Miró in Montecatini Terme. \nThe exhibition tells the fascinating story behind the creation of this artwork\, specifically conceived for the city of Montecatini in 1980 as part of Maggio Miró\, the largest cultural event ever organized in Montecatini\, envisioned by Carlos Franqui. \nThe exhibition delves into these events\, which involved numerous international artists who created works inspired by the figure and legacy of the great surrealist.
